H5N6禽流感疫情嚴峻，農委會昨天（15號）邀集相關學者專家開會研商對策，晚間並且宣佈，即日起凡是禽場主動通報疑似案例，經確診為H5N6禽流感疫情者，養殖場所撲殺的家禽，政府發放補償金將提高為八成。如果通報後採樣檢驗為H5N6以外的其他病毒株類型禽流感者，維持現行撲殺補償金六成的規定。
農委會主委林聰賢呼籲，養禽業者發揮自助助人精神，主動通報，共同度過這一波禽流感疫情。
